NEW SCHEDULING POLICY

In the past we went all over the area scheduling driving lessons. As of March 1, 2022 we will be concentrating on our Focus Area of Lee's Summit, Raymore, Harrisonville, Lone Jack, Greenwood and Pleasant Hill. We apologize but by scheduling all areas we have had to push our Focus Area students out further. (sometimes having to wait 2-3 months for a driving lesson). Our first consideration from now on will be to the Lee's Summit, Raymore, Harrisonville, Lone Jack, Greenwood, Pleasant Hill area.  If you are outside our Focus Area, you will be in our Secondary Focus Area (Kansas City, Independence, Belton, Grandview, Raytown). If you are in the Secondary Focus Area, you can request driving lessons knowing you may not be scheduled. We may possibly schedule lessons outside the Focus Area on a limited basis when we have open slots.

Fill out page 1 on this page if you want a rate quote for driving lessons in the Focus Area or the Secondary Focus Area. This quote does not guarantee that we will schedule you for lessons.

• A+ driving school is for students (teens or adults). All drivers MUST have a Missouri learner's permit before they can begin any driving lessons.

• Driving classes are scheduled seven days, a week, all year long.

• Each driving lesson is two hours long. You may sign up for as many or few driving lessons that you want. Most students do the full six hour course (three different days--two hours each day). A DISCOUNT is given for students that sign up for the full six hour course.

• All driver training lessons are behind the wheel training (no classroom).

• All lessons are one on one private lessons (one student and one instructor). Parent or Guardian is permitted to ride along with any driving lesson.

•  We will pick the student up at home, work or school.

• We furnish the car with insurance for all driving classes. All of our driver training cars are equipped with an extra brake and mirrors, ABS brakes, air conditioning, front and side airbags.

• All driving lessons will emphasize DEFENSIVE DRIVING. The lessons will include turns, lane changes, parallel parking, highway and interstate driving, backing, parking uphill and downhill, etc. All the skills and procedures that will be used on the actual driving test will be covered.

• Each student driver will drive to the driving test site where they will be shown the routes and procedures they may be asked to drive during the actual driving test. Our car is for practice only, not for the driving test.

• Students completing the full driver education course (six hours) will receive a certificate. Some insurance companies will give a discount for a driver ed certificate.

• If doing the full driver education course, it is best to schedule the three lessons to be completed in seven to ten days to gain the best learning experience. If lessons are spread out too far, it is more difficult for the student to establish safe driving habits.

• At the end of six hour of driving lessons the instructor will give an evaluation of the student's progress.

•Our Instructors have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19.

***Depending upon your availability and our availability, we may not have any lesson times available for several weeks or more. High school students can usually only go after school and weekends so those time spots fill up quickly.
